I’ve expressed my love for Tiramisu many many times on this blog.There’s something about the silky smooth mascarpone and layers of coffee-soaked sponge that makes me forget all about portion control. I’ve shared the full recipe of my mom’s delicious recipe back in 2012, but for the summer I thought I’d make things more fun by adding red-currants, freshly picked from the garden.
In terms of fruit, be adventurous and try out anything that strikes your fancy: blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, cherries or even a mixture of them all.
Recipe and Instructions
Follow the original recipe, but add a layer of fruit onto each layer of mascarpone, before adding another layer of the coffee-soaked sponge. Top with a light dusting of cocoa powder and garnish with fresh fruit. Enjoy!
