My life

Updates and other bit and bobs…

It’s been forever, I know, but let me explain…

I don’t quite know what happened, and why I haven’t been blogging. I could try to come up with stupid excuses of how life suddenly got in the way and that I didn’t know how to fit blogging into my life (which is partly true). But I assume, every other blogger out there has a busy life and they still find time to post, so I’ll just say that I needed a bit of a timeout from blogging.

Obviously, I’ve still been cooking and trying out new recipes. But, not going to lie, it felt good not having to take pictures of everything I cooked. However, after a 6-month hiatus from my blog I’m itching to start posting again. Maybe it’s the new year, that has inspired me to be more creative, but I’m excited to get back into the swing of things.

A lot has changed since we last spoke, and therefore I can’t commit to a proper blogging schedule. But as this has always just been a hobby, I luckily don’t have the pressure of posting recipes every day.

Last time we spoke, I had spent a summer working in Munich. It seems like such a long time ago and a lot has happened since. In September I moved to Bath (love that place!) to start my Master’s degree. After doing my undergrad degree in nutrition I thought it would be beneficial for a future career to do a business degree, so that’s what I’m doing now. I’ve loved it from the first day (apart from exam weeks, those can go!). I’ve found an amazing group of friends, live in a cute little house just a 5-minute walk away from Waitrose (dream come true!) and am also currently applying for jobs. Other than that, I’m still the same, just a year older…

I still love to cook, bake and take pictures. I’ve just spend my intersemester break at home in Austria where I have been working on lots of new recipes. I”ll try to post a recipe at least every week, and if  I ever have other important things I need to tell the world about, I’ll post more often. I’ve also challenged myself to type up recipes in both English and German. Let’s see how long I can keep that going though…

Anyways, that’s pretty much all I have to say for now. A new recipe will be up later this week and if you’d like to keep in touch between my blog posts, you can follow me on instagram, facebook and twitter.

I’ll talk to you soon,

Antonia xx
