We are halfway through July which means it’s time to discuss our summer wish list. Summer Wishlist | Health Inspirations

I don’t know about you, but instead of going on big shopping trips at the beginning of each season I like to shop continuously throughout the year. This way you might end up with a bit more clutter and unnecessary items {if there is such a thing}, but you won’t miss out on any major trends or special sales.

Seeing as I shop more frequently than I really should, I never manage to accumulate a long wish list. However, there’s still a few bits and bobs that I’ve seen while browsing online, shopping in London, or worn on other people, that I think I might have to indulge in this summer.

  1. Canon S120 | When I started blogging I had no idea how much stuff I would need. Technically, all you need is a laptop and a camera, but over the year I have added a few new gems to my collection. Most recently I’ve been pondering the idea of getting a second camera that I could use when I’m on the go. That way I can take picture and film when I’m out and about and don’t have to lug around my dSLR. And best of all, I’ll be able to post life updates more frequently on here too.
  2. Jack Wills Henlow Skinny Jeans | Before last Sunday I had ever bought anything from Jack Wills before. But Christina and I had a few minutes to spare before her bridal shop appointment so we ventured into the nearest store, which happened to be Jack Wills. Not so surprisingly, I immediately found a few items that I needed in my ever-growing collection of items in my closet. I instantly fell in love with these anchor printed skinny jeans. Unfortunately they were out of my size, but I’m still on the look-out for a similar item. And in case you’re interested, these are currently on sale!
  3.  Essie Peach Daiquiri | It’s no secret that I love Essie nail polishes. I think their formula is great and they have an amazing selection of colors. The day before I had my nails done in London last week, I picked up a few things a Boots and, as always, stopped by the Essie counter to check out their new colors. I was instantly drawn to Peach Daiquiri, though to my knowledge this isn’t a new color. I was pretty certain that the Bliss would have this color so I didn’t pick it up. Unfortunately, at the spa they didn’t have this particular color so I went with Plumberry for my toes instead, but have since then picked up  a bottle of Peach Daiquiri which I’m currently parading around on my nails.
  4. Whistles Suede Foldover Bag | It’s not like I need another bag, but this is such a cute little everyday clutch. Small enough not to look bulky, yet big enough to hold all your important items. The blue version is available on Asos and the blush and cream versions are available at Whistles.
  5. Bobbi Brown Nude on Nude Palette | This would be a great alternative to the Naked 3 Palette, one of my favorites. I generally go for subtle nude tones as I believe they suit my complexion best and when I saw that that Bobbi Brown sold a limited edition nude eye palette I immediately thought that this would be something that I’d like!
  6. Burberry Cat Eye Sunglasses | For a very long time my go-to sunglasses were the Ray Ban Wayfarers. They did their job, but for the past few months I’ve sort of had the desire to add another pair of sunnies, something a little bit different. These cat eye sunglasses are slightly bigger than what I’ve ever worn before but they’re still a classic staple piece. And as it so happens I recently purchased these as a graduation gift to myself…
  7. Mango Layered Chiffon Blouse | A white blouse is a summer staple and I think this would look adorable worn to the beach with cute cut-offs or paired with a pair of skinny jeans and leather jacket when it’s slightly chilly out. Definitely an item you would get good use out of.
  8. J. Crew Shorts | Speaking of shorts, I have found the perfect pair for you. J. Crew is a place I always have a look around in when I’m on Regent Street but rarely every do Í buy something. Not because I don’t find something I like, but more because their clothes is more on the expensive side of things. I’m hoping that these shorts are worth the money and that they become a friendly companion during trips to the beach.
  9. Bobbi Brown Sand Eye Palette | Because clearly one eye shadow palette doesn’t suffice, it’s good to buy a back-up, or two. This is another neutral palette with the prettiest shades which are perfect to wear all summer long!
  10. Jo Malone Peony and Suede Blush Cologne | The next time you’re near a Jo Malone store or counter go have a stiff at their Peony and Suede Blush collection. It’s a beautiful scent and one of my absolute favorites. I’m currently trying to finish up their Vanilla and Anise Cologne {I hate how that sounds like it’s a chore} and then I’ll treat myself to a new scent!
  11. Denim Punctured Shorts | Another pair of shorts because you can never have too many. This pair has beautiful puncture detailing and would look adorable with a loose and flowy camisole.
  12. J. Crew Boy Shirt | I love the idea of wearing whites in the summer. I just recently purchased not one, but three white dresses. I think they are easy to pair with cardigans and cute accessories and the make your tan stand out {something I still need to work on!}. A white shirt can be worn with almost anything: skinny jeans and ballet flats, denim shorts and sandals or as a beach cover-up. Clearly it’s an item everyone needs to own!
