Graduation Weekend 2.0

July 14, 2014

I left you with quite the cliffhanger there, didn’t I?!photo (4)

As my facebook page and instagram  may have given away, I graduated from University on Thursday. After a 4-year course of Nutrition with Food Consumer Sciences, I finally graduated with a BSc. It’s funny how everyone says that time flew by in a flash, cause I honestly think that so much has happened in the past four years {most importantly, I created my blog}.

Unfortunately not my whole family and only University friends could be there to participate in the festivities, so I wanted to post a few pictures from the weekend on the blog, so I’d have something to look back on.

Other than graduating, I also spent Friday in London indulging in a post-graduation pampering session and pedicure at Bliss, shopping with my parents (again!) and eating all the free Ben and Jerry’s frozen yoghurt I could find. Naturally I had to try them all!

Saturday was honestly the most exciting day of all, as Christina had booked an appointment at a bridal salon in Windsor. As her Maid of Honor, I was the the photographer for the day, capturing every single detail of the dresses. Although the dress hasn’t been picked {I personally have a favorite], it was a very successful trip and it was so nice to see my sister in her potential wedding dress. After a quick stop at the Fudge Kitchen to pick up a treat for the guys, we made our way back home, where I threw everything into my suitcase. I’m still not entirely sure how I’ve managed to buy 13kg worth of things in 2 days, but as I’ve said before, I’m a pro shopper! After saying our good-byes I headed to the airport and arrived back in Munich late on Saturday night, just in time for the big World Cup Final on Sunday {yay, Germany!!!!}

I didn’t quite know what my graduation would be like or how I would feel leaving the campus after graduation, but I have to say I’m looking forward for the future. I have a few fun things planned for the next year or so and I’m excited for what the future has to offer. It was so lovely to have my parents fly over for my graduation, especially after they had just been to London the week before for Christina’s graduation and I’m glad they got to meet some of the people that I had been talking about for the last four years!
