Guess what? I’m back!
I’m really sorry for the lack of posts last month but Uni kind of got in the way. The good thing is, I’m now officially done with my exams. I had my viva last week and spent a long, fun-filled weekend with friends that came to visit.
To celebrate the end of exams I took the train up to Birmingham last Friday to spend the weekend with one of my friends. We went out for dinner, had celebratory drinks and I had a chance to catch up with another old friend of mine which was lovely. The following Tuesday I finally had my viva, which I was extremely nervous about. Not sure how I did, but the important thing is that I’m done with uni now…woohoo! To celebrate, I went out for delicious burgers with Christina and Fraser.
The Wednesday was spent pampering myself in London. I did a lot of shopping and had a lovely pedicure at Bliss. On Thursday a friend from the Netherlands flew over for a long weekend which we mainly spent in London. We did plenty of sightseeing and our feet nearly fell off Friday evening after walking 13km through London. On Saturday we met up with friends for afternoon tea in South Kensington and it was so nice to catch up with everyone over scones, cakes, tea….and champagne. After a short visit to the Natural History Museum and quick stop at Whole Foods we headed back home and devoured our indoor picnic. And since 3 days in London simply isn’t enough, we headed back to London on Sunday to do the Color Run, which was the perfect way to end a super-busy and fun-filled weekend.
Now I’m in the process of packing up the contents of my room in far too few boxes before flying straight to Munich on Friday morning. I still can’t believe how quickly this year has flown by and that summer is literally just around the corner. I’m super excited for some sunshine, warm weather, spending lazy weekends at the lake and finally having time to blog again!
I promise I’ll be back with recipes, posts and updates very soon! In the meantime you can follow me on instagram.
