London, My life, Travel

Dear London….

August 15, 2013

I wake up every morning exhilarated, excitedly awaiting the busy day ahead. There’s so much to do and the days just never seem long enough to get it all done…

You offer so many fantastic, yet sometimes hidden spots where food tastes so much better than anywhere else.

Hidden gems are spread out across the city making tubes rides, even those at rush hour, a bit more enjoyable.

Just knowing that a simple Pret lunch is waiting for me after class, makes lectures fly by and somehow so much more interesting. Sometimes….

Walking through a city has never been more pleasurable. Leisurely strolling through Hyde Park, up to Notting Hill and back down to South Ken may leave some blisters on my tired and worn-out feet but it’s truly the best form of sightseeing. And people watching!

Although summers here aren’t necessarily all  sunshine and heat, I still manage to squeeze in plenty of fun times when the sun does come out.

Most of all I like that I can come to London and spend lots of quality time with the best sister in the world. Christina, I’m sorry you’ve had to leave work early multiple times because I needed my laptop or forgot the keys….but spending time with me is sooo much better than working, right? Winking smile

Three weeks here simply aren’t enough. I would have liked to stay longer but you know I’ll be back.

Toodles and see you soon!

P.S. Christina and Fraser, thank you for being such incredible hosts and letting me make a mess in the spare room. Don’t even bother cleaning up, I’ll be back sooner than you know!
