weekly foodie finds

To the slopes I go…

February 17, 2013

Hope you’re all having a fantastic, relaxing weekend. We are about to embark on our annual skiing holiday…{yay!!!} and we’re all really excited; my brother has been talking non-stop about the breakfast buffet for the past week. I’ll try to take a couple of pictures from the slopes or food, etc. along the way so if you like you can follow me on instagram and twitter! I’m hoping for days full of sunshine….

I will be checking in with you guys during the week and deliver a recipe or two Winking smile

In the meantime here are some of my favorite foodie finds from the last few weeks. Enjoy Smile

If you want a simple dessert then Kathryn {from London Bakes} can help out with this beautiful Spiced Treacle Loaf. Her pictures are always stunning and the recipes never cease to amaze me!

These frozen peanut butter chocolate covered banana bites {from Yummy Mummy Kitchen} look like such a fun treat to make and it would theoretically make an ideal pre-workout snack. Don’t people always say that banana and nut butters are to be consumed before a run or hard sweat session? If this is what I get to eat then I have no problem following that rule…

Every single recipe Marla posts gets pinned immediately and this rainbow veggie chicken soup {from Family Fresh Cooking} was no exception. Perfect for cold winter days…

When I saw this recipe for Whipped Feta {from How Sweet It Is} I knew I had to try it asap. Just look at the picture. Absolutely incredible, right?

4 ingredients is all it takes to make this cherry + chocolate chip frozen yoghurt {seen on Simply Scratch}. Frozen yoghurt is so delicious and I’m happy that it’s become more available in Germany but it really isn’t hard to make at home. I’m sure this will become a spring + summer staple!
