an empty jar, at last

On August 3rd I went to an organic supermarket and bought the largest almond butter I could find. Today, many delicious breakfasts later it was time to have overnight oats in my {almost} empty nut butter jar.


Into the jar went: 1 medium banana, 1/2 cup oats, 2 tbsp. chia seeds, 1 tbsp. flax seeds, 1 tbsp. goji berries, 3 heaping tbsp. of yoghurt and about 150ml of milk. Stirred, and topped with frozen mixed berries.

In the morning I was left with this. Absolutely no prep needed Open-mouthed smile


Looks good from the top, but the bottom is where the real goodies are hiding!


The perfect side to this amazingly delicious and very filling breakfast was mango flavored black tea. Always a morning delight!


I sort of ran out of time in the morning so I closed the lid, packed the jar into my bag and continued breakfast round 2 at work. If there’s a breakfast that’s easily transportable, then it’s this one.

The next full nut butter jar is already waiting in the pantry, ready to be devoured Smile
