Favorite Blog Recipe: Tabouleh

July 9, 2012

Hi guys! Sorry for the lack of posts over the weekend. I would have had a ton of things to write about, in fact, I have a camera full of food pictures I could share, but since I’m moving to Munich at the end of the week to start my placement I just wanted to relax and spend time with my family. We were pretty busy doing stuff around the house, working in the garden (our favorite summer activity) and swimming in the lake.

I thought it was about time to highlight one of my favorite blog recipes. I am sure if you are a blogger you too will spend too many hours of the day browsing blogs and marking or even pinning food ideas, recipes and sweet treats that you would like to make at some point. I pin new recipes nearly every single day but the day just isn’t long enough to try out all of the mouthwatering dishes.

I make an effort to cook as many different recipes as possible to excite my taste buds, however it’s just not always possible to create fancy recipes after a long day at work or during a busy weekend….so, that’s what the summer break is for. I’ve been trying out a couple of recipes from all over the blogosphere and the one I was really excited to share with you all was this wonderful Tabouleh from Bethany’s Dirty Kitchen Secrets.

I first came across Dirty Kitchen Secrets when I researched European blogger conferences. As much as I would like to take part in the Foodbuzz Festival I know it’s just not going to happen since it’s too far away for 3 days. (Maybe in a couple of years I’ll hopefully be able to go and meet all you fabulous bloggers!) However I found that Bethany is the organizer of Food Blogger Connect, THE blogger event in Europe.

Naturally I immediately signed up for the FBC (which will take place end of September) and so got to learn all about Bethany’s Lebanese recipes. So far I’ve only tried the Tabouleh which did not disappoint! Up next is definitely the Hummus which is still very hard to find in Austria.

Check out the rest of Bethany’s fabulous recipes and report back with any recommendations!!!
