I had a lovely time with my sister yesterday and to end the night in style we had dinner at All Star Lanes in London. I’ve been to the restaurant before so I knew what I was expecting but I thought I’d write about it again (especially for those of you who live in London Town) since it’s a really cool place to go for dinner with a bunch of friends or fun game of bowling.
What’s really worth mentioning is the restaurant itself. It’s unlike any place you’ve ever been, unless you’ve been to an American diner in the 1950’s cause that’s what it looks like. There’s comfy booths to sit in if you decide to have food or there’s always the option of signing up for a game of bowling. The waitresses wear actual 1950’s ” waitress uniform” and you’d really expect them to be wearing matching roller blades to their outfits which unfortunately the don’t….safety hazard, I guess!
Get ready for a bunch of iPhone pics!
Food wise, it’s exactly what you’d expect: burgers, steak, mac & cheese, etc.
They also have great choices of cocktails, milkshakes and a combination of the two: alcoholic milkshakes. I chose the I love NY cocktail which was a piece of art.
Who knew cocktails are actually a good source of nutrients?
I wanted to order a classic beef burger but my brother talked me out of it by saying that it was rather dry the last time he had it. So, I opted for the vegetarian burger instead.
Of course we had dessert too! Birthday brownie with vanilla ice cream. Super fudgy! Can you ever go wrong with brownies?
After dinner we headed over to the bowling lanes for a game of bowling. We all let the birthday girl win 😉
If you’re ever in the neighborhood be sure to check out All Star Lanes. It’s a great location for a casual night out and who knows, you might be lucky and see Prince Harry or any of the other Hollywood royalty including Keira Knightly or Kate Moss who’ve been here before!
