I am at the airport in London and have 30 minutes before boarding the plane so I thought I’d use the time wisely and share my travel foods with you.
My day started earlier than usual. My alarm went off at 5:15am but I decided to stay in bed for another 15 minutes or so because it was so nice and warm. I had my bags packed and travel snacks prepared which was great since it gave me more time to get ready.
I walked to the train station and by the time the train left it was already 6:45am so I was starving. I usually have breakfast within 30 minutes of waking up so waiting for more than an hour before eating felt like a very long time.
(Excuse the quality of the pictures. I took all of the pictures for this post with my iPhone so the quality isn’t really that good.)
My snacks included a banana, an apple and a cereal bar. I had the banana on the train. I met my brother Alex at Liverpool Street in London and while I waited I decided to have a latte at Costa Coffee.
On the train to the airport I had an apple because I was starting to feel hungry again.
Now I just finished the most creamy porridge I have ever had. I’m quite jealous that my usual morning oatmeal doesn’t end up having this consistency. It’s definitely something I need to perfect. I topped the porridge off with berry compote and had a fruit salad on the side.
Even though it feels like it’s 4 in the afternoon, it not even 11am yet.
I better get going since I really don’t want to miss my flight. Can’t wait to hit the slopes and see my family again 🙂
See you from Austria!!!
